Menshen is
your IT team
For organisations without a dedicated IT team. One fixed monthly fee covers the service desk, monitoring, security, Microsoft 365 and backup. A single owner, in Luanda, for everything inside scope.
Where this model fits
When IT has to work, not be managed
Most organisations in Angola hire an in-house technician, call a contractor when something breaks, or buy a pack of hours. Each model works in some situations and fails in others. Fixed-fee outsourcing solves a different, structural problem: it aligns the provider's financial incentives with preventing incidents.
One or two people in-house will never reach depth in Microsoft 365, security, backup and infrastructure at the same time, however good they are. Here, each of those areas is run by people who do only that.
The service
What's included
- Single service desk with no hour cap inside scope
- Proactive monitoring of servers, endpoints, network and Microsoft 365
- Maintained security baseline (MFA, endpoint protection, patch management, M365 hardening)
- Microsoft 365 administration: users, licences, mailboxes, SharePoint, Teams, licence optimisation
- Microsoft 365 backup via Menshen BaaS, plus on-premises server backup where applicable
- Quarterly strategic review: what happened, what was prevented, what to change next
Two ways to contract it
-
Full outsourcing
Menshen becomes your IT department. A single point of accountability for everything inside scope, from the service desk to backup.
-
Co-managed
Your in-house team keeps what only it can do: physical on-site presence, the relationship with the business, and custody of industry-specific or custom systems. Menshen runs the operational backbone (Microsoft 365 administration, security baseline, monitoring, backup, DR) and provides the specialist depth.
Pricing model
Fixed monthly fee
Based on the number of users, devices, servers and sites. No hour cap inside scope. Terms are set out in the proposal.
Why Menshen
Operators, not consultants
-
24 years in Angola
In continuous operation since 2002. When Menshen is your IT, the stability of the provider matters as much as the technology.
-
One owner, not a call centre
Your service manager is in Luanda, knows your environment and answers for what was contracted. Continuity through power cuts, connectivity dips and everyday operational disruption.
-
The same playbook as the banking sector
Procondo has been a Menshen managed services client since 2017. The procedures we apply in a 40-person organisation are the ones we apply in a financial institution.
-
Depth you would not have to hire
Microsoft 365, security, backup and infrastructure are each run by specialists in that area. An in-house team of one or two people cannot reach that depth, however good they are.
Already have an established IT team?
Then you probably don't want to hand over the whole function. Managed Services is an a-la-carte catalogue: contract only the platform functions you want to hand over (Microsoft 365, backup, endpoints, patching, email), each with a contractual SLA, while your team keeps strategy and architecture.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
-
Do you guarantee zero incidents?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. No IT model eliminates risk; this one is structured to minimise it, with a rigorous security baseline, continuous monitoring, low probability on the most damaging events, and predictable recovery when something does get through. The difference between models is not "zero risk" vs "some risk": it is "risk actively managed by a team with tested procedures" vs "waiting for the next incident". -
What's in scope and what's out?
The monthly fee covers everything under "What's included", with no hour cap inside scope, including standard post-incident recovery. Out of scope, and quoted separately: new projects (Microsoft 365 tenant migration, a new VPN, a new server), scope expansions, and hardware or new licence purchases. -
What if we already have an in-house technician?
That works well, and it is the co-managed model. Your person keeps what needs physical presence and knowledge of the business; Menshen runs Microsoft 365 administration, the security baseline, monitoring and backup, where specialist depth makes the difference. They also stop being the only person who knows how everything works, which resolves the risk of depending on one individual. -
How is Menshen's access to our environment governed?
With the same discipline we apply to our own Microsoft 365 tenant. Access is granted on least privilege, with no standing Global Administrator roles, using Privileged Identity Management (PIM) wherever licensing allows. Any change to privileged roles is logged and communicated to your designated approver before execution; a change without a matching record is treated as an incident. Access is granted by your organisation and revocable by it at any time. -
How do we get started?
An assessment of your current environment, with no obligation. We visit, audit the environment, document what exists and identify risks. Then a proposal with a fixed fee and a defined scope. Onboarding follows, during which Menshen takes control, normalises configurations, closes critical security gaps, sets up monitoring and documents everything. Then the steady state: monthly reporting, quarterly review.
